WELCOME HOME
Welcome to Church of England Beverley Deanery within the Diocese of York, a place of warmth, acceptance, and growth. We invite you to be part of our community and share your journey with us.

SAFEGUARDING
The Church of England in Beverley is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and each benefice and parish has its own Safeguarding Officers (see individual church websites). The Diocese of York’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

OUR CHURCHES
Beverley Deanery is made up of 18 Church of England churches serving the town of Beverley and the surrounding villages. Each church has its own story, traditions, and way of sharing God’s love in its local community. From historic buildings to new initiatives, rural parishes to town congregations, together we form a diverse and supportive Christian family. We are part of the Diocese of York.
